Streamline your workflow with file uploads to Loop workspaces

Hi, Microsoft 365 Insiders! I’m Kat Orevillo, a Product Manager on the Loop team. I’m excited to share that you can now upload Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF files to Loop workspaces, simplifying your workflow and giving your team all the context it needs to better collaborate.
 
Now upload your files to Loop workspaces
 
According to your feedback, many of you work across multiple file types (including Loop files) to collaborate with teammates, manage projects, or just collect knowledge around a topic. Now you can bring all these files together in a Loop Workspace using the “Upload a file” option! 
 
How it works 

Go to the Loop app at https://loop.cloud.microsoft and navigate to your workspace.
Select + Create New > Upload a file to access files on your device and on network shares.
Use the “Upload a file” option to add Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files to your Loop workspace
 

Select the file (or files) you want to upload to your Loop workspace and select Open.
When the upload is finished, your file(s) will appear alongside other pages and links in your workspace.

 
Tips and tricks  

This feature supports the upload of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF files. NOTE: Individual files cannot exceed 250 GB in size. 
This feature supports multi-file uploads — try selecting multiple files at once to speed up your process.  
Uploaded files are stored in your OneDrive for Business under My files > Loop > Workspace Uploads.

 
Availability
This feature has been fully rolled out to the preview audience of Microsoft Loop users. 
 
Don’t have it yet? It’s probably us, not you.  
Features are released over some time to ensure things are working smoothly. We highlight features that you may not have because they’re slowly releasing to larger numbers of Insiders. Sometimes we remove elements to further improve them based on your feedback. Though this is rare, we also reserve the option to pull a feature entirely out of the product, even if you, as an Insider, have had the opportunity to try it.
